Iron Dragon

The Iron Dragon is a characterful and well-established venue located in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil, a thriving Welsh Valleys town approximately 12 miles north of Pontypridd and 24 miles north of Cardiff. Formerly the Welsh Water building, the pub retains plenty of charm and character. The ground floor features a spacious open-plan trading area with a mixture of fixed and loose seating, a dedicated darts zone, and nine TV screens showing live sport from both Sky Sports and TNT Sports.

Upstairs, the versatile function room offers additional trading opportunities, complete with pool and darts facilities, three large sports viewing screens, and seating for around 30 guests.
