Huntspill is a village on the Somerset Levels, just 8 miles north of Bridgwater and about 3 miles south of the tourist area of Burnham-on-Sea. It’s a beautiful area. The Orchard occupies a highly visible position on the main A38 road, attracting plenty of passing traffic. The pub is within walking distance of many residential homes, and the wider parish of West Huntspill has a population of 1,414. The area also has many caravan and camping facilities, with around 20 sites within 1.5 miles of The Orchard. The nearest town is Highbridge, with a population of 7,555. Highbridge town centre has many pubs and eating establishments, catering mainly to a community/high street mainstream audience.
